When we bring awareness, knowledge, and practise to the storytelling we do naturally, we begin to understand and work with the ways we think and communicate in story, and how we can improve, to be more engaging, effective and influential.

This short (105 minute) online workshop will set you on the path to becoming a storyteller.  We will cover:

• What’s all the fuss about, why story?

• How to look for and find stories

• The classic story structure and how to use it

• And then you’ll have a crack; you’ll choose a memory, spend a nano second shaping it, and in online breakout rooms, you’ll share and listen in pairs. We’ll do that twice with different partners so you get the chance to practice. And each time you can record yourself, so that later you can continue to refine and craft, or use it for a written piece.
